Flash Candle evaluates the Williams Percent Range on the most recently closed bar (bar 1) and assigns a definitive color to that candle. The current bar (bar 0) displays a provisional hue until close, ensuring signals are based exclusively on completed data.
Flash Candle is engineered to eliminate any repaint, backpainting or visual alteration. Signals are confirmed only on bar 1—the live bar (bar 0) uses a temporary buffer color purely for reference, never influencing signal generation. Once bar 1 closes, its final color is written to ExtColorsBuffer[1] and remains immutable in all subsequent OnCalculate calls.
The update loop ( for (int bar = limit; bar >= 0; bar--) ) preserves all historical buffer entries, and functions prone to repaint—such as iBarShift , Time[0] or backward recalculations—are completely avoided. Built on standard iWPR and sourcing raw values via CopyBuffer() without dynamic shifting, Flash Candle guarantees absolute signal integrity: what you see at bar close stays on the chart permanently.
Signals fire immediately when a gray candle confirms into a bullish or bearish color, with no lag or delayed recalculation. This ensures you react to confirmed market moves rather than retrospective adjustments.
Flash Candle works across major, minor and exotic FX pairs, commodities, indices, cryptocurrencies, futures, CFDs and stocks (as supported by your broker). It is compatible with all timeframes from M1 to MN.
Configurable pop-ups, sounds, email and push notifications trigger only when a new bullish (green) or bearish (red) candle follows one or more gray candles. This filters noise and focuses on genuine trend transitions.
Adjust SensitivityLevel and WPR_Period to tune responsiveness for your chosen asset or timeframe. You can also personalize grid visibility, candle colors, background, axis text and volume display directly in the inputs.
Does Flash Candle repaint?
No. All signals are confirmed on the prior closed bar and stored in immutable buffers, eliminating repaint, backpainting or signal disappearance.
Which timeframes and assets are supported?
Any timeframe from M1 to MN and all symbols your broker offers, including FX, commodities, indices, cryptocurrencies, futures, CFDs and stocks.
How are alerts triggered?
Alerts fire at bar close when a gray candle shifts to green (buy) or red (sell), with options for pop-up, sound, email or push notifications.
Can I adjust sensitivity?
Yes. Use the SensitivityLevel and WPR_Period inputs to fine-tune signal frequency and strength for your trading style.
