EZ Trends is a precision trend detection indicator designed to make market structure shifts easier to spot in real time.
Using a unique EMA–HMA hybrid band system, it highlights trend direction with adaptive candle coloring, andplots reaction levels at the start of each new trend
The result is a practical tool that keeps traders aligned with momentum while filtering out market noise.

KEY FEATURES

Trend Detection Logic

• A three-line channel built from the average of an EMA and HMA (midline).

• Expands dynamically using average candle range to form upper and lower thresholds.

• Adapts instantly to volatility, showing compression, expansion, and breakout potential.

• Uptrend: triggered when price closes above the upper band.

• Downtrend: triggered when price closes below the lower band.

• Candles are automatically recolored (lime for uptrend, blue for downtrend) to give clear directional bias.

Trend Initiation Level

• At the start of each new trend, the indicator locks in the extreme pivot point (low for uptrend, high for downtrend).

• A dashed horizontal line is drawn to mark this level, acting as a potential retest or validation zone.

Visual Layout

• Midline: Dashed average of EMA and HMA.

• Top/Bottom: Solid adaptive thresholds.

• Combined with candle coloring, this layout gives an instant snapshot of both market direction and strength.
